Seven cup Cake  (Besan Burfi)

Ingredients  
 
Besan  -   1  cup
Tup / ghee  -   1 cup
Milk  -   1 cup
Grated coconut -  1 cup
sugar -  3 cups
Sliced almonds -  1/4 cup
Cardamom powder  for flavor
 
 
Procedure
 
Mix all ingredients except  almonds & cardamom  powder together in a big kadai or thick bottom pot.
 Keep stirring on  low-medium heat till the mixture   thickens  and  starts separating from sides of pot .
 It may take approximately 20/25 minutes . It should be thick but pourable.
Add cardamoms powder & mix well.
Pour the mixture in a plate covered with tup  & spread evenly.
Sprinkle  almonds slices & let it set for few minutes.
Cut  the burfi in your favorite shapes & enjoy!
 
Tip -  You can use less sugar if  you  prefer.
